Archaic Period Pottery

The Archaic period in the Aegean, and in mainland Greece in particular is dated between ca. 800/750-510/480 BCE. The Ceramics appearing during this period include the Geometric style, which continues from the Dark Age, the Orientalizing style, Black Figure pottery, and its successor the Red Figure Pottery.
