Proto-Geometric Pottery

The Proto-Geometric ceramic family is characterized by horizontal decorative bands with a few simple and strict patterns between them, which usually consist of geometric shapes such as circles or semi-circles. This decorative style later evolves to the Geometric style which appears in the Archaic Age.
