Ghassulian Pottery

The Ghassulian Culture (to be pronounced R'assulian) originated from the site of Tulaylat al-Ghassul, located in the Jordan valley near the dead sea. It is dated to ca. 4500-3500 BCE.
The Hole-mouth jars are a bit more closed than in the previous periods.
