The Intermediate Bronze Age

The Intermediate Bronze Age, also known as the Early Bronze Age IV, is a relative short period, dated ca. 2200-2000 BCE. The pottery of this period is very regional oriented. There are four pottery groups: The Southern Group, located south of Jerusalem, The Central Group, located in the central hill country up to the northern valley region, The Northern Valleys Group, located in the northern valleys region of the Jezreel  and Beth Shean valleys, and the last group, the Northern Group located north of the northern valleys region.
