The Late Bronze / Cypriot Age

The international aspect of the Late Bronze Age is clearly seen in the archaeology of Cyprus. The small island kingdoms were involved in trade relations with every major power in the region; Egypt in the south, Anatolia, the Aegean and the southern Levant.  The Late Bronze Age, also known as Late Cypriot Age in Cyprus is subdivided into three periods:

The Late Bronze / Late Cypriot I, ca. 1650/1600-1475/1450 BCE
The Late Bronze / Late Cypriot II, ca. 1475/1450-1225/1200 BCE
The Late Bronze / Late Cypriot III, ca. 1225/1200-1050 BCE
